true, but the SN95's had some torque don't forget. isn't it pretty high, thought it was, not sure on the exact numbers though.seeing as how the SN is an auto is really gonna hurt it though.

If you know how to drive, the auto will lose, but if you miss gears and foul on the powershift, then you are a clown<IMG src=smileys/smiley8.gif border="0">and youare going to lose, please tell me you are a decent driver?

One thing to keep in mind is that an auto with a shift kit and gears will run, but a vert is draggin a lot of extra weight . the 99 up should win

My buddy has a 2000 Gt with Borla exhaust, 3:73 gears,CAI and a shift kit(he has an auto) I think he has posi traction too,not sure. He claims that he has beaten 5 speed 99-04 gt's. He also swears that he beat a 2001 camaro Z28. Should I believe him or is he full of it?What kind of 1/4 mile times would a car like his get? He says he gets high 13's most of the time.<edited><editID>Admin</editID><editDate>38028.001724537</editDate></edited>

He should be getting low 14s high 13s, but a Z28 gets mid to high 13s stock. So if he beat one someone either wasn't racing their Z or missed a shift. I would think that 310 hpwould behard to contend with with just a CAI and shift kit.
