A 96-98 V6 Mustang with a Dominos Pizza sign on top pulls up next to me and starts revving at me. He looked bone stock, sounded bone stock, well I couldnt even here him over my exhaust. We get to light, he wanted to go through but it turned red . I roll down my window and say "you ready" He doesnt look at me but laughs a little, then revs again. I said ok, on green. So, I launch the best I ever have in my life, perfect feathering, one little chirp of the MT's and Im friggin gone. I look back and he didnt even run me. He just sat there and rolled through the light. fugger. WTF?

 

Why did you even bother trying to race him lol. He probabley realized his car isnt fast at all and was just messing with you. I get people who try to race me all the time with cars that arent even worth me wasting time on and then those people who just rev thier car because they know mines fast and they see the big cowl hood and want me to spin the tires or get on it. I just ask them if they want to pay for my new tires once I burn these off and they usually shut up.

 

i usually let them take off first to see if there really going to race then i fly by them usually

 

Thats what I do when **** boxes want to race me. My car is no beast but a guy wanted to race me in a minivan. He even spun the tires when the light turned green, I just sat there for a second in shock and then decided to pass him. I learned real quick you can't race all the idiots on the road.

Yea, when they wanna see me spin they usually say get on it something. I thought he would chicken out. Ive messed with a few cars before knowing I could smoke them. Ive also been very surprised and nearly lost a race bacause I thought they were kidding and had a sleeper. ya never know.

 

He may have seen you launch on the Mickeys and thought better of wasting valuable gas on a lost cause. Good kill.

 

lmao, I posted something like that in off topic the other day.. old guy in a newer GT on the highway, both of us get next to each other.. he honks 3 times and I leave him while he just turns his signal on and gets in my lane.. the old man was just mess'n with me lol.

yea, got some more street launch practice any way. I just hope I launch that well when and LS1 come up.
