I ran two people this weekend. My friend in his '00 Accord v6 and my other friend in his '05 v6 mustang. I pulled 4 cars on the accord from a dig but about 7 from a 10mph roll. Then I raced the new stang and pulled 3 cars from a dig and about 5 from a 10mph roll. With my mods (headers, exhaust, 5.0 pro shifter, underdrive pulleys) shouldn't i have beat both of them by more than that? I drove a '99 gt the other day and it feels quite a bit faster than my '95 5.0.

Oh well, both REALLY fun races!

 

I'm surprised the accord didn't beat you and the new mustang sixxer should have been closer.

Are you kidding me? Yes, the race was setup beforehand. Why would you be surprised that an accord making 200 horse and a v6 mustang would lose to a 5.0 with a few mods?

 

You have a slight horsepower advantage (215-225?) and a big torque advantage (300?) so you definitely should have beaten them. Good kills.
