Doesnt the year of the engine matter too
there all small differences in the motors besides of one VTEC of nonvtec... or short or long geared tranny.

the average SOHC turbo with the right turbo sizing will easily run low low 14's. My buddy has a stock motor EX coupe with a RHB5 turbo on only 7psi & he runs right with my friend SRT-2 & my other friend I/E S2000... So I would guess it would prolly be fair game for a 99+GT. But some people oversize the turbo on these small engine & they dont move for crap

If he can keep up with stage 2 SRTs than he is quicker than just about any stock GT.

I meant SRT-4**, my bad... the SRT now only has a stiffer spring & boost 17... he took everything else to stock

I watched a video of a guy with a sohc swapped EF (forgot what kinda turbo he's got though) run high 13s.

swap/exhaust/turbo/tires are all of his mods.

I agree with 4DOOR and 2000, I've seen some quick sohc 14b turbo civics, capable of high 13's with a good driver and decent traction, and don't forget; he can run ANY amount of boost the turbo is capable of, it's just the question of how much fuel/how much does he care about the motor(not much if he is familiar with swaps and the fact that u can get them for $200 or less). Basically what I'm trying to say is that the SOHC turbo is like a newer contact lens: DISPOSABLE

And by the way, VTEC is overrated, it takes a good tuner and a proper setup for it to even make a difference.
