End all Overdrive thread
I keep hearing different things about overdrive so lets make this the last time anyone has to explain it, anyone post about the advantages of having OD off and the downsides of it, and can you turn it on and off or should you be completely stopped
My tranny doesn't shift any differently when it's in D or OD, it just allows it to shift into OD when it's in the OD. But of course my OD band had to go out the other week, but that's okay I'm getting a new tranny tomorrow.
You can turn it on and off as much as you'd like... it's just like the car shifting in and out of overdrive itself.
When racing, it doesn't really matter if OD is on or off... the car won't shift into OD at WOT anyways.
