Let me clear things up. SpeedRicer what you have is a USDM Integra Type R motor. Its a B18C5, the JDM ITR is a B18C. The GSR motor is a B18C1. And if you are doing 7.8 in the 1/8 then your quarter will probably be a real low 12 or even a high 11!!

well then...typeR itis. it sure as hell came out of my friends totalled civic though. the engine code is B18c5. i'm hoping for high 11's...but i dunno, we'll see. i'm getting that intercooler spray kit hopefully next pay check, so with that, i should hit 11's. i just have to find somebody to trailer my car there and back, cause i honestly don't trust it right now</P>

Run 12lbs or less in your slicks and you'll hook good for maybe a 1.8 60', then that should net you your 11 sec run. You get to learn all about Hondas after using different setups then having them break and replace them with others. Thats why I finally went with my STi. I've had everything from a JDM ITR, then a CR-Vtec, and then finally a LS-Vtec. They are fun cars and engines but not good for daily drivers once modified. They just dont hold, whether it be broken akles to the ever so fun cracked cylinder walls!!!

yeah, the whole cracked cylinder walls is gonna happen soon, haha. hopefully i get the sleeve kit in time. my 60' is 1.98 w/slicks right now. i also thought about the crv B20 w/the B16 head, but i didn't know if the turbo would fit andthe deal came up on this motor so i bought it. my friend did the frankenstein swap or whatever in his 89 rex with the same T3/T4 turbo setup i used, but he ended up losing to a camaro...turning up the boost, and blowing his motor...but that was a fun swap to. i've done a few swaps...but i'm not into the whole which engine code goes to which car thing...one day i'll learn...maybe</P><edited><editID>SpeedRicer</editID><editDate>38013.9937731481</editDate></edited>

I would suggest that you consider just stroking your 1.8L to a 2.1 or 2.2 with the bigger crank. Look at JG engine dynamics on the web, they do Jojo Callos's integra. They have a type R motor stroked and turboed with 26psi at something crazy like 850 hp!!

Since you're so apt to reading what you don't want to read here, why not just...go?</P>

The most you're going to get out of an ITR motor and still make it suitable for forced Induction is 2.1L. </P>
