Simple as that....I guess Ill start off. STR-10 Ram(****ty Driver...couldnt launch worth a dam) SVT Focus(Hahah) Some Harley (guy thought he was all badass bc he drove a hog) and a G35 Coupe. Its not that great of a list but I havent had the car too long

I took down an 1984 Silverado at the STRIP Sunday, and a new Cobalt SS.

 

2005 Pontiac GTO from a 20mph roll to 100 mph....got 'em by a car length(in other words his front bumper was at my back bumper)...

 

wrx sti, g35, 350z, trans am, turbo charged accord, 04 mustang gt spraying, saturn ion redline, and some ****ty turbo volvo,

 

Freako, how did u take the GTO, are u modded and what gear did u start out in 1st or 2nd?

 

i took a 04 gto with exhaust work from a roll around 25 mph. the guy may not of been much of driver but i pulled on him from second all the way to fourth.

 

I only have axle back mufflers, was in first gear, the only time i took my foot off the throttle was the 2nd-3rd shift because I still have the factory shifter.....I dont believe the person I raced was that great of a driver (50 something year old man and Im guessing this was his first performance car)We did the 3 horn honk thing, which he was honking and I jumped him out of the hole good. I new it would be close because of the weight difference and my ability to drive/shift....I think if we would of went farther he would have eventually pulled ahead....but we went the length he wanted to. The GTOs are not untouchable just because they have 400 hp.....they also weigh almost 4000lbs. Im thinking there is a 400 to 500 lb weight difference between the cars so to me that equals 40 to 50 hp loss on the Pontiac's part.

 

Pontiac GTO is 3725 pounds. Only a couple hundred pounds
more than the MGT.
That 50+ year old driver must of been shiftin as slow
as he possibly could.
The 05 GTO traps about 4-5 mph faster than the 05 MGT.
That about the same difference as there is between an 05 Mustang GT
and the 04 Mustang GT.

He should of walked on by you.
