How fast can I expect a stage 2 WRX to run with an average driver? Im assuming it has about 270 bhp anyone have experience with this?

 

Mid to high 12's?

 

Stage 2 is 230awhp. Its about as fast as a stock STI. mid to LOW 13's. 12s arent really that probable.

 

Mid to low 13s at best sounds about right. With a Protune it might be a little better, but off-the-shelf maps leave a lot left on the table power-wise.

 

230 awhp is definitely attainable on a stage 2 that's been custom dyno tuned, but you will not find a single off the shelf map that will give you those numbers. My old WRX, when it was off-the-shelf stage 2, dyno'd at only 199awhp.

See, at first I had about 13.3 to 13.5 then thought you ment a STI and changed what I said.

 

Yeah, you were right though, a stage 2 STI should easily be in the 12s.
