Do the Tc's really run that well?? See I thought I had seen numbers of them being ALOT slower. IF the Tc's run the numbers that mustangman said that means they are on par with the 99+ V6 manuals

Yea they are supposed to be pretty quick, my cousin was lookin to buy one and the sales guy said they can take a celica gts easily.... their supposed to run high 15's, but I killed my friends 05' from a dead stop so you will take him unless he has a supercharger or turbo which I highly doubt...

well i have a stock 2000 v6 5 spd vert, and i raced a tc manual, and he actually got the jump on me but we didnt race for very long due to traffic, but I would say do not underestimate those things, they do have ***** if the driver is good. but i was catching him so i have fath you will take him. but it will be close. good luck

the tC actually replaced the celica, and it actually shares a bunch of parts with the old lexus IS300 i believe. tCs have 160 HP and do 0-60 in like 7.5 seconds and the quarter in high 15s

Close. They are more often compared with a Celica. But the 2.4 they use are a little more tuned. And the Tc is a light car. So the power to weight ratio is pretty damned good.

oh btw so yall know the TRD package doesnt come with a turbo , it comes with a supercharger made by vortech but its not pushing too much boost, However, his model 3.8l will not take even the N/A TC...maybe an automatic...maybe...but not a manual and definitely not the trd model

don't know about the tc, but the one that looks like a toaster is a joke. i smoked the **** out of one in my caprice. i dont know what he went to but i got on the brake at 100 and we raced from a stop and he was way the hell back there when i let off. dude lives down the road from me and now he waves to me.
