Scion Tc's can be pretty mean when tuned right, i saw a tc tuned to just over 500hp im sure if the owner knows what they are doing they can make it to be pretty bad

My sister has an automatic 2004 Scion tC. I was dead set on getting one until she nabbed one first. I didn't want the same effing car. Thank god she got it first... I went with plan B, and my 2005 V6 was only plan B because it was more expensive than the tC.

Now that I have to take my sister's tC off the driveway to move my car, I take it for a spin up and down the street maybe once a month. Slow as ****; the automatic at least. Came equipt with a fart can, and one of the few body kits they offer. Tiny little thing... too.

I've always wanted to catch a tC at a light... but most of the tC drivers in my area are little asian girls or old people. Seriously. In fact, I see more xB's and xA's that zip around traffic on the highways. [:'(]

the xB's are not even worth a 94-96 v6's time....i thought they had like 100 hp and like 90 tq or something like that. if he revved at u, he deserved it.

Yea they are supposed to be pretty quick, my cousin was lookin to buy one and the sales guy said they can take a celica gts easily.... their supposed to run high 15's, but I killed my friends 05' from a dead stop so you will take him unless he has a supercharger or turbo which I highly doubt...
Sorry bud, but high 15's aint gonna take a Celica GTS with a 6spd. They run high 14's with a good driver.

hahaha this post is great! Just so you know I am a tc owner. N/a tc's fully built run a best time of about a 15.2. I have not really heard of any better n.a. Most of them run 15.5-15.7's Now here is the catch. There are ALLOT of tuned tc's around. And I am not talking just header and intake type cars. Usually you will run accross built tc and it will usually look close to stock and sound mean as the devil. Be carefull thinking your going to smoke a tc like this especially in a v6 or even a gt. They might give you a heck of a suprise. They are no rocket car but many of them are in the 13's to low 14's which is pretty good for a economy based engine. Most tuned versions are laying down around 230whp-250whp. Then there are some extreme guys running 300+whp. Have fun guys! and keep it off the streets and on the track. Much better chance of you whopping a tc on video than on the street... or a tc whopping you and it being plastered all over the net hahaha

Just for the record, mine whipes the floor with a celica gts

I beat a Scion xB in my 1.8L mazda protege lol...those things are so freakin slow...I wouldn't even bother racing either xB or xA, I'd run a tC if it was modded.

There was a supercharged tc running in the 13s at Firebird a few weeks ago... Made me ashamed of my first time out with my new GT and getting a best time of 14.4 A few mods later I am down to 13.7 and feeling a little better.
