Default Ran a WRX

Me and my girlfreind were driving around in my mustang and i saw the guy in my english class that drives a wrx getting gas. So i pulled into the gas station and asked him if he wanted to race and he agreed. He got in a rev'd so i could here is bov, then i followed him to 190 and we went from like 60 and, he started like half a car in front of me and had about a bumper on me by the time we let of. Next we went from a roll and he killed me from the begining, i had way to much wheel spin in 1st and 2nd. Next we went from a 50 roll and again he started a half a car ahead (no honks he would just punch it) and when he let of i had pulled and we were about even. He didn't have any passengers and i had 1 other, and i hadn't reset the computer to get rid of the cel from when a vaccum hose slipped off. He said that it came from the factory with racing seats and racing harnesses, is this true?

No, it didn't come from the factory that way

The STI has some nice seats, but it definitely doesn't come with harnesses. Neither does the WRX.

Nice runs ! Did he have any mods or was he totally stock?

Nice runs. You probably would have had him if you started even with some honks.

Wow, I dont know how you managed to lose to a WRX in your GT - it gives silver mustangs a bad rep. You should sell your car to someone who knows how to drive that beast. I've seen three to date and all from the line. You know how many times I lost? NONE! AWD is crucial , but so are the #'s 227 v. 260.....
(and dont say mods, because you should have just as many)

Well be careful now. Mods + basic bolt ons could include a larger turbo. My old WRX had a little under 350hp at the crank, which was with a turbo that's not much larger than the stocker and not large at all by most turbo standards.

Well re-read my post, i had a passenger he had none, he jumped a half a car before i ever got on it and i always pulled up to dead even on him, i just had a vacuum hose pop off that i just fixed, which means my car threw a code and turned on the cel light, which pulls timing and adds fuel.

Im also 17 in high school with 212 dollar car payments 248 dollar insurance payments plus a huge gas bill cuase i have to drive my girlfreind around everywhere and I only have a part time job. So i can't really aford to mod much.

Where did u get that info bud? My car had a cel light on for almost a year, and my F150 cel light came on at 100k miles. The odometer now reads 169,000+ . CEL means a light comes on. Performance is not affected in any way is it?
