i have a 70 mustang 302 2brl and just got the car. I want to race the car as a leisure thing not too hard core. The first project i was condsidering was a 4brl, new intake and cam. any suggestions?

Auto or manual? An auto could benefit from a torque converter. Of course you'll need sticky tires.

worse! it is a 3 speed manual. I was considering a c-4 or t-5 not sure which yet. The motor is in great condition had to replace the fuel filter and water pump.

I would go with C4, it's more consistant and if you are new to racing it will make it easier for you
