Default Mazdaspeed protege

Now I know these things arent slow, but I was coming back from a delivery on highway 36 in Leonardo when a Mazdaspeed Protege rolls up next to me at like 40 mph and motions to race so i say what the hell, I havent had one in a while. I put my car into second and rev to match the rpms. He hits it and then I hit it and he gets a slight jump. I then proceeded to walk his car incrediblely bad. I stop at about 90. There wasnt any other cars around and it was on a stretch of road running past the weapons station. i had an incredible amount of fun doing that. Mods are in the sig.

Good kill, the MazdaSpeed cars are pretty quick. Are those the only mods you have done to your Stang?

I wouldnt consider it a family car. It like the SRT4 Neon and the Cobalt just slow as hell.

Thats all i have done to the car. I have a set of 410 gears, rear end rebulid and a speedcal sitting under my bed waiting for install.

Mazdaspeed Protege's come with a turbocharged 2.0 pushing out 170hp and 160lbs/tq. The
0 to 60 speed is like mid 7's, so not very fast for a turbo'd car. Nice kill.

I believe their 1/4 is rated at like 15.5-15.8. Still slow for a turbo'd car.
