Trap Speeds
So last time i went to the track and i had a number of problems with the car: upper intake not bolted to lower intake, bald *** tires, stock *** gear, worn out 3rd gear synchro, half functioning spark box, incorrectly gapped plugs, and there might be a few more but thats all i can think of right now... but the point was that i only managed to run a 13.0 but i trapped 118, why does this happen? normally when i see a 118 MPH trap speed its on a low 12-high 11.. so why did i trap 118 on a 13.0?? i assume that i would trap higher with all of problems fixed too...
The most likely culprit is a bad launch. You're probably churning away several tenths at the starting line. What were your 60' times?
As you mentioned, it seems that you are making enough power to run deep into the twelves...[8D]

if i rolled out off the line i would pull a 2.0 60' roasting them through 3rd and if i launched hard id pull a 2.2 60' just flat out burning the **** out of my tires all through 3rd
