suspension setup help
Sway bars are a tuning device and as such, should be the last item on a suspension upgrade list. They are indeed for the addressing of understeer/oversteer issues, so do EVERYTHING else first and see where your needs are.
If you DON'T plan to do any further changes to suspension, a rear sway bar is the direction you should look, if you want to dial-out some of that understeer. Keeping in mind, that understeer is considered by many to be safer than oversteer and I would agree (so long as it is not extreme).
Typically, the SN95 can use a bit of additional rear sway bar to achieve a better over all balance, but this is really a "per user" defined item. There is nothing wrong with a bit of understeer, but am a bit more reluctant to say the same about oversteer.

I would not bother with a STB on a post-Fox Body Stang
They really don't offer any help to a DD ride on the street, I'm afraid. It would be hard to justify one on the open-track/AX course as well, but certainly won't hurt anything.

Im already running 245/45/18 all the way around on a summer tread. I didn't want to mess with sway bars yet as I don't really 100% understand which ones would be best for me. As for pushing it to its limits, I doubt it. It does understeer a little and from what I understand that's what you want, correct?
d.girardi – Every driver has their own preference as to the setup of their vehicle. The goal is typically to get the front and rear bias equal. Having a little more oversteer is usually preferred to having extra understeer.
Properly setup springs and sway bars (and good tires) will get you to a properly balanced car.
