Default suspension set up help

ok i have a 86 gt 5.0. this summer im wanting to replace my suspension. im pretty sure its all original and it rides horrible. i need your guys opinions on what to buy, i heard that the coil springs are really good and most likely don't need to be replaced and that being said im not wanting to replace them anyways i was thinking control arms, shocks, and struts. my car has 82,000 miles. i will mostly be running on the street as a DD but i wanna be able to go to the track like 4 times a year. what is the best set up for me? thanks guys

Sounds like you are a candidate for just a set of dampers all around and maybe some sub-frame connectors. For your described needs, this is about as far as I would go, but can certainly go farther. Doing so, will start giving you NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness), so you want to consider what else you want to install and why.
