Lowering concerns on 2012...
Trying to figure out exactly what I want to do suspension wise but I was wondering to lower the car with springs "correctly" what other changes am I getting into. Not what I can get away with not doing want to do it all the right way. I have read stories of new camber plates, control arm relocation, etc. but I can't find any consistency whats needed and whats not. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
My recommendation is to ALWAYS consider the following question prior to doing ANY performance mods..
What are the ULTIMATE goals for your car?
Consider this question very carefully, as modding a car can be quite expensive and very difficult to do suspension mods efficiently. I cannot tell you how much money I spent going a different direction after already having purchased/used some parts taking me the wrong direction
The next thing to consider is the possible warranty of your new car. Some mods will effect your warranty and need to consider this, if you plan on some fundamental changes. Not saying you shouldn't mod, just to consider possible ramifications of doing so. I do know there has been some reported issues with the #8 cylinder of the Coyote motor with aggressive tunes/boost. Ford can tell if the tune has been altered, even if the OEM tune was RESTORED again! Got off the suspension for a moment, but just a heads-up for ya
I am not nearly as knowledgeable on the S197 as I am the earlier models, so some things are better left for Norm or others to address. Please consider the ULTIMATE question and let us know what you think soo far.

Makes sense. Well aware of cords stance on these things. Know of the #8 failure. At this point if something happened with my current mods I would be done for. No big deal I knew that coming in. Essentially I want to correct some of the body role. The stance of the 12 is just to high. I need to be more stabilized in the rear. Probably making 530 at the crank so it can be a little out of control. thanks for your feedback my man.
Springs are just one piece to the puzzle in regards to suspension. We sell the basic suspension kit that includes springs, front and rear swaybars.

Here is also a great video that was done on the 2011 that would match up with the 2012

Also, depending on how low you go, you may need an adjustable panhard bar. My rear end if offset to the left by about an 1/8th of an inch now, but it's only noticeable to me, so unless I go lower, I'm not worried.
I did but I think I understand where you are going..no its not going to be a track car or anything like that. I just want to correct some of the body roll and the stability in the rear of the car. I "may" try my luck at the 1/4 mile at sometime but no time soon. I'm just looking to get it to handle better. It just seems wobbly and loose anytime I take a corner at any speed what so ever. I've been "practicing" my launch in case I do run it on the quarter but since the modifications the back end is a bit all over the place. I know I need wider rear tires as well but thats an easy one. Hopefully thats a better picture my man..thanks for the feedback..
