So i had my griggs heavy duty panhard bar installed and ever since, when i go over a dip in the road i get a Loud! Thud noise from the rear. I thought it was hitting the sway bar so removed it but it did not help.

Has this happened to anyone else? what should i crawl under there and look at?
It is getting unbearable....

Keep in mind, you now have a spherical joint under there with a hard poly joint at the other end. Certainly go under and look for anything loose/unusual, but may be an interaction between the uppers and your new PHB.

PS. Beyond the noise, what have you noticed about it, in regards to performance?

 

i mean its LOUD! its bone jaring like "omg im gonna mess something up"

would removing one of the tops help at all? i am gonna adjust things to see if it helps.

As far as performance... the car is kinda at a point where i cant really test it out fully so i have no idea. I had it laying around forever and decided "F it its time to put it in"

I have been running a full GR-40 for many years now and not that loud. Now... "loud" is also a subjective call, so that some of the noise is for sure normal.

Can you post a vid with some audio? Not usually good audio on cell phones and cameras, but worth a try.
