Default rear tire pushed forward

Good Evening,
I have a 95 mustang someone backed pretty forcefully into the corner of a building. they only hit the very left (driverside) of the rear and it ran up the side and it appears to have pushed the tire forward as i can only fit 2 fingers between the tire and tire well on that side and i can fit 5 fingers on other side. they thought the axel was broken but i drove it over 10 miles ( iwent very slow) once i got to my street i went up to about 20 MPH, it felt fine driving it only thing was i had the stearing wheel pointed slightly right like if i had to get an alignment aside from that it felt fine... any ideas on what i may have to do or any other info i can fill in. at the rear hub it looks like its damp on the side that got hit but the other side seems to be dry... Thanx for any input.

So i took it around the block this time going up to 35 MPH still no vibrating but felt a little funny. i think it may be the rear lower control arm... does this seem logical??

U should swing by a body shop. It may drive with no vibrations but I but it is dog tracking bad. I do auto body for a living and would think if it took a shot in the left quarter of the car and the axle is sitting jacked it might have more the a bent control arm.

thank you, I took the wheels off and it appears the axle on the side that got hit is angled slightly forward and the opposite one is angled slightly back but the pumpkin appears straight...

yea upon reading more stuff it says it will bolt right up. just wasn't sure because when i call the auto salvage yards the 8.8 is only listed as for cobra's.

Does anyone have recommendations for places to buy rear ends for a 95, i found one at the salvage yard for 550.00 but just wanted to see if i could find a decent price on a new one. I looked around but only found very few.
