Cobra IRS Handling Package Recomendations?
Hey all,
I'm putting an IRS from a wrecked Cobra into my V6. I just finished the Full Tilt Boogie Racing delrin bushing kit install on the control arms and I'm currently doing the subframe bushings, but now I'm contemplating my next step.
I'm going to upgrade the fuel pump, and replace the fuel filter while there's no rear end in the way, and I want to put a new handling package on it, but I'm having a difficult time finding anything practical. When Searching around I can only find the Stock Handling Items Labeled Performance or the insane that cost 3x as much as I paid for my car packages, which is not what I want, lol.
Basically, my ideal setup would be an Eibach Sport-Systems-Plus, but they don't seem to make anything but the pro series for the IRS. I'll drive this car around some, but I'm not too concerned with comfort ride quality as long as its bearable, just something aggressive for track days that allows me to drive my car to and from, and sometimes on short road trips. I plan on doing auto-x and road courses, not straight-line, so my needs are for cornering and stability. Made in USA would be a Plus.
Anyone had any luck with anything?
Thanks!
Nic

Maximum Motorsports. I drove a turbo Cobra a few years ago with full MM suspension and chassis bracing and it was probably the best handling street car I have ever driven (besides a turbo NSX), and I have had alot of cars, both import and American.
