Default Bouncing - Eibach setup

I have Eibach lowering springs and shocks which lowered my car about 2inches in the back. I just drive it around town, but last summer I went on a long trip and on some section of the highway I noticed the car bouncing a lot. What could be causing this?

The Eibach setup probably has less then 2000 miles on it. I only felt the bounce in the rear and only on a section of the highway the rest of the way it was fine.

LOL!! yeah I got that, but it was bouncing a lot felt like I was off-roading or something. I know lowering the car you would feel the bumps a lot more, but not like this. I hear getting bumpsteer/ball joint kits would fix the issue. I'm not 100% sure this will help.

get your car on a drive on and check to see how close to level your tie rods are, if they have a severe angle then the bump steer kit will help

I had Eibach Pros on my 12 GT, loved the stance but should have changed the stock shock/strut package to something like Koni yellows. The stock shocks and struts don't function as well as the Konis do for stability on a lowered car.

I ran my car lowered 2" a couple years. And I know exactly what your talking about with the bounce. I drive a local road that just happens to have the joints in the road sections spaced about the same as the wheel base as our Mustangs. I swear I'm almost bounced off the seat at a certain speed. It must look hilarious following me. Now it's only this one section of road that I've ever had this happen, and my shocks are good.

It's just the way it is with lowered cars.
