Default 2008 GT Lowering Thoughts

Hi All,
I have a 2008 GT that I was considering the possibility of lowering it about an inch, max.

The car only has 21K miles. Is there anything other than the new springs that I need to do?

I have had several opinions thrown my way.

Thank you.

Caster bolts/plate to allow you to align the front wheels better.

Panhard bar to align the rear after you lower it.

Try Ford Racing Springs.

Gap will look similarly to this:

You will need the following:

Springs
Shocks/struts
Adjustable panhard bar
Alignment
Possibly camber bolts

If you only do springs your rear end will be off center ached the socks will wear out really fast.

Good luck.

Yes, not as easy as just adding the springs as the rest of the suspension is affected.

At the very least, you will need a panhard bar then followed by the shocks & struts and the CC plates.

Doing the springs & shocks at the same time will save on install labor.

I can provide forum pricing if you email me at tim@steeda.com.

Best Regards,

TJ
