Default svo front clip

seriously,,,,,,,,,,,,,,im trying to round up all available parts to replace the front of an 85 svo that has completely been removed sue to an accident, for the price of an svo front end, i can buy an entire mustang lx,sell the extra parts and break even, so im thinking of going with that, i mean really, the svo is a totally tight ride, but it does kinda give of an exp escort, xr4ti vibe that kinda kills me, i know resale value should be better with the svo front, but once it's back together it'll be an easy swap, and hey, if i got an lx front clip, i can't be too mad if i nail something with it. what do yo uguys think, is it a crime? or would it look sweet with some reworked frontal area with some new wave projector lenses in an lx or gt bumper cover?

First, I would want to see an SVO front back on the car. That being said, front end parts for these cars are getting harder to find and way more expensive. If it is done correctly, it can look pretty good. I have seen some nice examples with the conversion you are talking about. One thing that I would be sure to do is keep the hood scoop. The scoop is part of what sets these cars apart from all the other fox body Mustangs.

please, dont make it anything other than an SVO. thats the way it came and since its so rare, its worth a ton more than messing with it. if anything, go get an lx if you like it. just dont mix cars. thats part of why they are so nice, they stand out. anyone can pick out an SVO out of a crowd, but its alot harder picking out an lx from a gt. id save up the money and wait to do the job right. you will get alot of nice comments about a complete SVO rather than a custom mixed stang. and also think about keeping the mustang heritage alive. there arent many left, especially the 85/85.5 ones.
