Hey, just bought an 85 SVO. Its all stock and the fuel pump quit. Anybody have any recommendations ? & where to go. I saw a BBK 190 or 225 lthpump at gyrhead. Any info please - Thanks and nice to meet ya.

From everything that I hve read, the stock fuel pump is good to ~300hp. If you are planning on modding it, an upgrade to the 190 is recommended. That should keep up with you until you start putting out some big numbers. Personally, I would upgrade. It will save you money later on when the itch comes to start making it faster.

Thanks trbopwr, do you know if BBk is a good name in replacement parts and/or if gyrhead is reputable ?

I don't know about BBK, but Gyrhead has been supporting the SVO crowd for a long time. I believe that they are vendors over at svoca.com and members of the site get a discount from many different SVO sources, including Gyrhead.
