So i start the car every morning and it drives and idles perfectly for about 20 minutes of driving. After the car gets hot, it begins to idle like crap. It will idle between 700 and 1200 rpms surging and almost dying,... has actually died a few times. When in minor throttle you can still feel it surging,... also durning downshifting. I checked the air meter, vac leaks, and the idle air control. The mods i have on the car are, a front mount and a bpv. could it possible be the timing?? i doubted that since it only surges when hot. now,... it doesnt always do it,... just 80% of the time the car is hot,... it idles like poo. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you
