piston?

Default piston?

so i pulled the head off to do a head gasket and i noticed the piston has so markings on them... they say L2455 75mm... are these stock?

Ummm, those aren't stock pistons to the best of my knowledge. The stockers are dished.

Cool

SpeedPro .030 flattops. They raise your compression around 2 points. If you keep 'em you're just begging for trouble! They need to go away!

whats wrong with them besides more compression? cant i just run less boost and make the same power?

In these engines? no, sorry but those pistons are just asking for trouble

om well since there pistons are 3.810 and stock is 3.800 do i just need to buy new pistons... i have stock pistons lying around can i make them work? so these pistons are probley the reason i couldnt get the thing to run good withut it knocking...
