how rare is an svo
I've seen two of them on the road - one was a real nice red one durring the Woodward Cruise, and the other was a decent black one outside of our city library. On the website I'm looking at it says Ford made 4,507 of them... not sure if thats right or not but they aren't very common cars.

the one i saw had the flush headlights so i guess it was 85.5-86 it was vert clean body wise but it needed a little work on the interior
ford never made an SVO capri. just an SVO stang. they made 4505 in 1984. made about 9850 between 84 and 86. theyre a rare car. no such thing as an SVO convertible or coupe. just hatches.
I bought an 84 SVO, first one sold in the country. The next day I put in a special order for an 85.5. I also had a 79 Mustang, sold that & the 84 SVO, but I still have my 85.5, only has 73k miles. Love that car, always get looks and thumbs up from people whenever I take it out on the road. Nothing drives like it, nothing hugs the road like it. It’s quite laughable thinking you could compare that to a Capri, let alone call it an SVO Capri.
