I just wanted to post this here just to make sure anyone who has or plans on having a 03-04 cobra should know. I was reading on another mustang forum that a lot of 03-04 cobra owners have had this problem. I guess the gas pedals have been getting stuck in the carpet, not like a carpet piece that can move around like the accual carpet that is put on the floor of the cobras. Alot of them said they had to cut their carpet out a little bit to stop the problem. But, before anyone gets killed i thought i would let the people know here that don't know. So go check your out ASAP and if you have to cut the problem out.

 

This has been posteda few times and discussed since i have been here (not usually on their own thread though). It really should be a sticky... it's rather important I would think. lol.

 

yeah same thing happenes to my S/c Saleen. i think its a s/c mustang problem

 

lots of other people that i've talking to say you can write a letter so i can possibly be a recall soon. Unfortunately i don't remember where to send the letter.

 

the video where the guy jumps over the median and hits the car in the turn lane supposedly happened b/c of the stuck pedal/

 

yeah i seen that video and said that it looked like that happened but no one knew for sure.
