My friend has 2003 Cobra pushing 442 WHP with 450 TQ. I am not sure about the right kind of oil to use and what weight. We don't know what the car originally had it in (First Oil change for him) and thinking about synthetic. Advise, please. On another note is the blower lubricant fed from the oil pan or is it independent?

You want 5 /30, not the call of 5 /20.

The 5/30 gives you better oil pressure.
I run a KB @ 21psi and 100shot.

 

I agree, the Mobil 1 5W/30 is the best oil for these cars!! Especially with the extra boost!
