I got a 99 about a year ago it needs some paint work and very light body work. It has a new forged short block and some mild bolt ons with a promotion 5 speed and some other work. I got a good deal I think on it $3100 is what I payed, but like I said it does need some work.
Hello from Mass....I'm a brand new daddy. Just spent a chunk of my retirement on a 1998 Cobra SVT. Vortech stuffed with some awesome looking 18" wheels. Bought from a dealer who called it "a loud Mustang" Score one for me. Now I just gotta figure out all the mods....
I reached into a little savings too so I could get the '96 Cobra. So, I'm officially posted as a SVT owner. Feels great!
Reached into savings...man, I heard that. I wrote a check for mine and it was a bitter-sweet moment. I always wanted to write a check for a car that wasn't some $1,000 beater, so I got my wish. But, I've always wanted a big bank account and buying the car was not "directionally correct" in the pursuit of that goal.
