FYI, '03 and '04 Cobra owners... Apparently the gas pedal can get stuck in the carpeting. That's a travesty, really in a car like this. The problem occurs if you FLOOR it! [:-]

 

Although it hasn't been recalled before, this is a well known fact. Next time you see a Terminator on the lot, chances are the carpet has had a razor taken to it.

 

i just posted this about a month ago because it was not recalled yet.

 

yeah i called the ford dealership and i had them check my VIN and they said i have no recalls as on now.

 

I haven't been on the forum in quite some time now, my wife told me that she heard of a recall on the cobra's and it had something with "gas something" so I figured I learn about it here;
well, when I took the mystic down the track in Gainesville, this happened to me. You wanna talk about freaked me out!!! I thought there was something really wrong with the car. HA HA HA HA HA HA the damned pedal was absolutely stuck to the floor!! back of the pedal had found its way into getting stuck in the carpet!!! That is so funny

 

well thank god it happen to you at the track cause you were at WOT ne ways. Have you ever seen that video on streetfire that has the kid skidding all over the place and he goes over the median and hits a car? I heard that that was because of the pedal getting stuck.
