I purchased a 1997 SVT Cobra
Every cobra comes with some paperwork stating that it is a true cobra and the number car that it is. It's a certificate.
Does anyone know how I would be able to retrieve a replacement certificate? I have no doubt that this car is a Cobra but I just wanted to have the certificate for proof and value.

Iknow the original thread was posted a while ago (in 2006) butI just wanted to add a little update. I recently applied for a certificate and all you need are the last 6 digits of the VIN. I didn't need a proof of purchase or anything like that. They ship DHL so it takes about a week and a half to arrive. Hope this helps someone else! :-)

 

How much does it cost? The only other thing I wish I had is the stamp that comes on the valve cover with the names of the 2 builders that hand built each car. I called that number and they told me that there was no way theycould track that down. Bummer.
