im ganna get a off road h or x pipe. i heard my friends x pipe on a 99 cobra with glass packs but it sounds kinda like a import in high rpms. i have flows would they sound any deeper? should i go with a h pipe insted? another person that i know has a 5.0 and runs constant 13.8 13.9 with a x pipe but when he put on his h pipe he couldnt even hit the 14s. did he just f#@$ his car. i heard the h pipe is only about 3 or 4 hp less wich u souldnt even see a diff in the 1/4 mile right. would i see and performance gains with the h or x pipe in the 1/4 mile. my cars stock besides the flows and a drop in k and n and i hit a 13.9. thanks for the help

 

i think i depends on what you want. H will sound deeper and more like a "muscle car." An X will give u a more rasspy sound with a little more hp

 

i have bbk o/r x pipe and flows...they sound amazing! I have no cats right now but they;ll be in by weekend.

 

I had BBk X pipe and Super 40 Flowmasters.. I HATED IT!

It lasted about 2 weeks and I bought a MAC H pipe and I love it..

The BBK was very 'raspy' and the H pipe is more of a low rumble tone.. If you decide to go with the X pipe let me know.. I have mine for sale.. Look in the parts for sale.. Topic is New BBK X pipe forsale..
