Default cobras

I was wondering if it costs alot for upkeep of say a 1998 svt cobra.

it realy depends on the condition of the car. My 97 cobra is completely rebuilt from the bottom up and should not need anything for quite some time.

I don't think there is any special up keep.. Get in it and drive it like any other car.. Things go bad or break but not any more on a Cobra than a Escort if you ask me..

No.. the basic parts are all the same as any other ford/lincoln/mercury with the 4.6 in it. The only differences start coming in when you tear into the block.. like heads/cams, or rods and pistons.. things like that.. alternators, water pumps, etc are all about the same.

I have a 97 cobra with 125k miles and have had no problems with it so far. Worst thing that happened so far is i blew a seal in my rear end.. 200 dollar repair for all new seals..
