Default Cobra motor question

How stout are these motors? Lets say i found one with 95k on it, is that pushing the motorslimits or are they good for ALOT more. Im coming from a lt1 had 150k miles and taking a 150 shot all the time. Please help buying a cobra in a few months.

I have seen the cobra motors last a long time. I personally wouldn't by one with 95K on it and throw a 150 shot on it. You don't know if it had the crap kicked out of it or anything. Gald you are making the move to a snake

I think you should bee ok then. If you are looking at a 99-04 cobra with the irs I would recomend an irs brace to protect your diff from blowing out from wheel hop.

The 99 motors are pretty strong, if you don't bang them up. My pal has a 99 with a full Vortech SQ intercooled system on his and he has about 80,000 miles on it. Just make sure you run some good ole Mobil 1 Full Synthetic in it and you will be fine!!
