The SCT Tuner is a nice piece to have! You have the ability to change and modify just about any parameter on your car!. The great thing about handheld tuners is that when you add mods, you can simply adjust the timing and fuel curves to handle the change in your program. With a chip, a tuner has to reburn the chip to get the right parameters. This can be very tiresome and expensive if you are paying for dyno time!! You can also check fault codes when your car is acting crazy!! This is very helpful in times of need. I carry my tuner with me everywhere JUST IN CASE!

Everything he said. Its cool because as you add mods you can get new tunes off the internet through whoever you have tuning your car. Its worth every penny

I had Lightining Force Performance write me a tune. I can just call they and tell them what parts i added and they can write me a new tune. Then send it via email and then download onto the SCT Tuner. I dont know if you can do stuff yourself. I wouldnt unless you really know what your doing.
