Fair enough, 2001 SVT Cobra vs. 97 Trans Am LT1.....SVT wins I have seen it time and time again. Im not a Chevy OR Ford guy but I know that stock or near stock LT1s get rocked by 01 SVT Cobras. For some odd reason "some" LT1 drivers seem to think differently, despite the fact that they must not have EVER raced an 01 Cobra to show them whats up. But hey these "oh so intelligent" LT1 drivers can live in their dream world where they are smarter then a peice of salami and wittier then a Buddhist Monk, apparently in this same world they are able to beat 01 SVT Cobras in a race too!!!

 

Actually, I was referring to the LT1 vs '96 Cobra as you oh so subtly eluded to. Not the '01 SVT. Ah, the joys of not reading the whole thread. Please think first, read everything, then reply. Thanks for trying though.

I would hope the 320hp Cobra could hold it's own with a '97 LT1.
