Need Help
I have found a 1993 Cobra (or they say it is). They want $5000 for it. It is teal green and has cloth interior. It has a new 302 and it has Trick flow heads and intake, MSD ignition, and Flowmaster 40 series duals running out the back. More than that, I do not know. My question is, how do i tell if it is a REAL 1993 Cobra? The guy told me that it was, but I have no idea how to tell if he is lying or not. He has documentation proving the engine was brand new when installed and it only has 29,000 miles on it. Is this a good deal if in fact it is not a cobra? Sorry about all the questions, but I want to be sure. Thanks in advance

Call SVT at : 1-866-377-8862 during regular business hours, or call your insurance and they can run a vin search and it should come up with cobra under the model type. Cobra for 5, sure....gt with mods for 5....depends on condition....have you test driven it?

RE: Need Help
Let us know how it goes,..post some pics if you have 'em. In my opinion, mods on a car like a cobra can actually bring the value down, see if the seller has all original parts that came off the car. Not saying that its crap if modifie, just tons of mods on a cobra tend to = less for resale.
