Right now im looking at 4.6L V-8, Cobra W/IRS,4x9x14" Muffler, 2.5" Tubing, Dual Rear Exit, 3.5" Tip Magnaflows for my 99 cobra. Any other suggestions?

Go to www.mustangupgrades.net to hear exhaust clips. You can also go to www.mustangexhaust.com for the same, but I personally think the quality is better with the first site. Both have clips with different combinations (I.E. Magnaflow with an X pipe, Borla with an H pipe and so on).

 

is mac a good system? soudns good but they all do. I want a louder one where you can hear me coming but not unbearable. I wanted magnaflows but they didnt sound louch enough

 

i have a bassani x-pipe with 4x9 magnaflow mufflers and it sounds very good, i have got a whole lot of comments on it

 

still need to know if mac is a good exhaust company meaning headers and all

 

I've heard of fitment problems and quality issues with MAC, but correct me if I'm wrong. I had a MAC intake on my GT, and it was beautiful for about 3 months and then looked like cast aluminum. Personally, when I think of MAC, I think of the bottom of the list. My opinion, save another hundred bucks and get a Magnaflow or Bassani. 4 inch (Bassani) tips and stainless steel quality. Or go all out and get a Borla.

 

I have BBK off road x pipe with BORLA Cat back exaust. Sounds awesome....Oh yes, it's on my 99 Cobra. I will agree, Mac will never be on my car..................Just my personal opinion.
