I own a 98 cobra with a few things done to it and i currently runs 12.9 in a 1/4 but my question is what are some other mods and things i can do to it to increase poweer without getting to expensive and making it run in the 11's at the track. Right its all motor and im trying to keep it that way so im avoiding nitrous and cuperchargers. I know it has K@N basani exaust H pipe and mas upgrade, there is no chip in it. It may have a few other things but not sure at the time cus its just recently been purchased.

 

Well, you could add long tubes, gears, shifter. If it just has a K&N drop in, you could add a true CAI as well like a JLT. You need to check for a chip though. Just yank the passenger side kick panel and you should see the chip sticking out. If not, add whatever HP mods you want and then get the car tuned.

Add some good sticky drag radials in the mix. I'd say the tires, 4.10 or 4.30 gears, and an aggressive tune will help alot.
