Mod process for 03-04 cobra...

First, I wanted to clear my sarcasm statement: I thought you were saying that just a CAI would put you at 460... I didn't see that possible.

Second, I was just lookint at the JLT CAI. It's around $200 bucks and you can get it custom painted to match the color of the car's body.

Third, a smaller pulley on a supercharger will generate more power and more heat. That's why it's necessary to get a tune, CAI, and probably even exhaust mods.

Stock pulley on a GTP (my car) is a 3.8. When I dropped that to a 3.4 I felt a dramatic increase in power... I can only imagine what will happen on a supercharged 8...

just save a few grand and get a kenny bell or whipple.. thats what my plans are. Dont think 500 rwhp would be enough for me.

heres my mods dyno date is on 28th.....check my poll out i made . i guessed 520rwhp. i got a 03 cobra vert 27k miles, i got bassanai x pipe no cats,borla stinger exhast, stock manifolds still, accufab single blade with polished plemun,C/L inlet tube,a big air #2400 mass air,K/N FIPK filter,3.0 pulley and idler, with 6 lb lower=16 psi boost,steeda 03/04 sport springs,M/M full length frame connectors,tri axe shifter,and chip from JMS.hilton boost gauge overlay, . JMS ported eaton. my dyno date is for sept. 28th will show dyno#'s then. never run my car yet

well b4 my eaton port and my 6 lb lower pulley , i could hook, now it blow the tires off on every gear up to 4th by just stabbing into the gas. i got to get better tires, F1s not going to do it , thinking of geting 17x10.5 rim for the back with some 315 nitto'r s.
