Default Mod process for 03-04 cobra...

Hey guys I'm new to cobras, but I've been reading about them for awhile now and I am strongly considering purchasing one, when I find one for sale.
What are some good mods to consider, and what numbers will they give you?
I'm assuming some pulleys, a tune, what else?

The 03-04 mustang COBRA. One of my favorite cars, while i could know more about them I have always wanted one. If i had one: 1st would be pullies, exhaust, tune, then drag radials. Try m/ts. That should get you in the mid 12s if I'm correct, I'm not positve so dont quote me on that one please. Thanks.

^what he said. If you add a CAI on that you should be at at least 470 or so.

i'm not being sarcastic. You can be at about 470 to the wheels with about $1100 to $1500 bucks. With just a 2.76 pulley, CAI, and a tune. A professial tune though.

What exactly does a professional tune entail?

You need a dyno tune.

First establish your goals. Stock '03/'04 Cobras range from 345 - 395rwhp. Average is 365. If you're looking for a moderate increase of power/torque (430 - 460rwhp) consider the following.
Intake (RAI or CAI)
Catback
Midpipe (X or H)
2.90/2.93 upper pulley (with one or more auxiliary idlers)
Tune

If you want a bit more, you can go with a 2.76 or 2.80 upper, or an upper/lower combo.

If you're looking for 490 - 520rwhp you can port the Eaton (Stiegemier Porting).

Add, of course, the necessary supporting mods (heating, suspension).

If you're looking for some good, basic info check my FAQ page. Feel free to email me with any specific questions.

Wow that website has so much info!
I just want some mods to keep me ahead of the average everyday cobra
Exhaust, Intake, pulley, and tune
Which are best though?

I want a loud, deep, mean sounding exhaust
A good performing CAI
What do pulleys do? Which is best for power gain on an everyday street car?
