hey what kind of fluid is best for in the heat echanger. I know i saw a thread on this a few weeks back but now i can't find it. i am going to be putting in my fluidyne today hopefully but i am not sure what kind of fluid to go with. any reccomendatins are appreciated.

 

Stock fluid from Ford. If you have the green fluid stock get the green fluid, if you have the yellow fluid get the yellow. I got 2 gallons and I think it cost $30. I was told not to mix them. Dont get the orange color fluid.

 

alright I got her in there. a little bit of a pain but it looks nice with that fluidyne etching in the grill.

i was told to run distilled water mixed with coolant.

 

Yes, I believe the reasoning behind that is because of the harsh minerals found in tap water.
