Default cobra buyer

im tryin to buy a 96-98 cobra in about 3 weeks.... are these easy to get low 13's or high 12's out of? i know alot about foxbodies but not much about the 4.6's.... anyone have any first mod suggestions?

first i would reccomend getting a more aggressive gear into the rear end. I would suggest a 3:73 to start things off. Then i would go with a cat-back, cold air, and a computer tune. Then once they are complete i would go with a no-cat x pipe. With these mods you should be in the low 13's then i would go for some xtreme power adders, my preference is the vortech supercharger. then you will be in the mid to low 12's.

i dont wanna go power adder cause it will be my daily driver and my fixbody will get that kind of stuff... i wanna keep this just bolt ons and under 2 grand in parts...... im thinkin slp lm1's ... off road x pipe.... not sure what headers..... cai.... 3.73 gears.... short throw and lowering it with eibach sportlines

THAT SOUNDS GOOD TO ME MAN. YEA I HAVE A 91 GT WITH A VORTECH IN IT. LOL
