Default cobra question

Ok... the reason I bring you this question is becuase I was asked this question, and gave a vague answer... the question is "What were the good years for the cobra?"

What are you refering to when you say"good years"?
If you mean speed the 2003-04 are the fastest.
The slowest were 1993-95.
They are all good cars maybe except for 1999.
In 1999 there was a slight recall b/c of horsepower rating.
But I believe Ford fixed the problem so they are all good.

i just wanted to know like the fastest years... I know that the 03-04's were amzing, but I thought in the earlier 90's the cobra also ran 12's... is that true? I'll be in the market for a cobra in a couple of years, and just wanted to know which was fast, which was good to work with(upgrade easibility) and so forth... so I came here from the 4.6 forums, becuase y'all are the "snake charmers" sorry for the cheesiness

Also, the 93 cobras are one of the more rare ones. 93-95's also were 302's. In 96 they went to the 4.6L.

i know that the terminators were the first to run 12's "stock" but wasn't there a year before that, that ran 12's from the factory as well? early 90's i think, but idk the exact.
