imo black wheels look good on darker color cars that why the blue svt looks better then the yellow. thats also why black cobras w/ black rims look pretty bad ***.

good luck; i dont have a cobra(a 06 GT) but i was looking at for a mach1 1st; i remeber really want to find a orange one w/ that black stripe..never happened.

 

I agree about the lip being chromed or polished to offset the color, it would make a world of diffrence. All black looks more like an import tuner thing. But the car does not look horrible. Just sell the wheels and get a new paint job.

 

just replace the rims then..

 

Heres my black wheels with polished lip. Deep dish in the back. I need some springs and I think it will look alot better.

IMO black wheels look nice with any exterior color but in most cases they look best with a polished lip. A bit of polished metal really makes the wheel look nice. Some like all-black of course.
