I don't have drag radials, but just switching from Sumitomo's crapy tire to the Nitto Extreme 555 ZR street tire made a night/day differance. I haven't ran her at the track, but on the street she really fights that wheel hop. If their street tires do that, I'd love to try their DR's. Don't feel bad about the race, just get some DR's and go kick his A**. You done any suspension work yet???

***** did you put the springs on yourself? I've spent all day putting the H&R's on and all I've got done is the front. They were not that bad, but the rears are a pain. I finally gave up for the night out of anger. I unbolted the shocks from the top, but that only gave me a few inches to drop the arm. I think if I unbolt the sway bar, I can drop it even more. Any suggestions???

you need to make more passes for sure. my first pass i ran a high 13 and by the end of the day i was running consistent low 12's. all on bfg street tires too. the more passes you make the more the time will come down.
