boost bypass??

Default boost bypass??

this guy at the track last mounth with a 03 cobra said he did a boost bypass by swiching some lines under the hood. the car ran fast it had a pully swap and D/Rs and ran 12.42 @ 111, is this guy full of it ?or is there something you can do that dose such a thing>?

well you can do a boost bypass on your own or you can do it in a tune. Here is the link that taught me how to do it. Try this. When i did mine it really didn't seem to perform any better but my car has a nice whistle to it now.

if he had a pulley swap, 12.4 isn't all that fast. i assume hae had an intake and catback as well as most cobras with pully swaps do. i ran 12.3 on streer tires with the same mods so i don;t know if that by pass is doing anything.

no he just had a swap and no mufflers and are elevation isnt all that great (2,238ft)

With my experience a boost bypass doesn't help at all.

If you're going to do the boost bypass, do it ONLY in the tune. It is there for a reason. Completely rendering it inoperative is the wrong way to go.
