Default whining questions

Just wondering what makes the supercharger whine louder. The videos that everyone post the supercharger whines really loud i dont know it this is from them porting the supercharger or just intake and a pulley swap. Im thinking on getting the jlt cold air intake will that give me a good whining sound. That would be great if you could give me some feed back. Another think i got to get my 03 cobra pics up for you guys.

We have LM2 catbacks, CAI and a 2.75 pulley w/ tune and our s/c whines like never before. The boost bypass was turned off in the tune as well, so it stays for much longer. Just watch out when you choose mufflers because getting something too loud IMO won't really fit the style of the 03's and will overpower the sound of your s/c, we learned the hard way.

Cold Air kit, remove hood blanket, different pulley, and some say the Gatorback belts make more noise because of the way the ribs are cut but I don't know.

I never understood the fascination with hearing how loud your blower is whining. IMHO, you look like an *** if your blower is whining loudly, but your still getting your *** handed to you. Granted, I like the sound of it too, but I like my exhaust note much better with my LMII and Bassani X, especially at WOT.

you definitly have to have a good exhaust sound. what i like is how as the car comes at you you hear the wine of the blower and once it passes all you hear is exhaust. you'll notice that in the video clip in my previous post.
