ok first off from wha i read nobody was knockin n/a cobras the guy said he had a close to stock n/a cobra versus what i believe he said was the 365 hp srt4? if thats the case then of course the neon would win however if it wasn't the 365hp neon then its a diff story. but the problem is he doesnt rele know what kind of neon it was because they didn't make neons in '06 which was priorly stated, andif they met up on the road how did he talk to him.

ok... im sorry for the confusingness of the original post. english is a not first language for me. i talked to the guy at sonic that evening (that is a bonuse of having just movved to a relitively small town with a distinctive car) and he said that it was a new srt-4. i made the mestake of assuming that ment it was a 2006. he said it was a t-7 turbo that i heard wistling, he siad it made it to about 290-300 horse. im not sure if that was to hte rear wheels or the motor. i was talking about the rousch being a stage one. im sorry if i confused, but you guys did not make it very welcome to a new guy in here, im sorry for any problems that i have caused.

I had an '03 SRT-4 and currently own a modded '97 Cobra. I read in one of the posts saying they are not fast. You will be very surprised with them. On stock boost in mine with basic mods, I managed to pull 13.1 at 108mph. By the way, there is no thing as a t-7 turbo, that guy was jerkin your chain.

first things first, i have owned a 94 GT, i currently own a 05 SRT-4 and i am going to own a 03 cobra...having said that dont bother with the neon jokes...umm, when you race you usually run the gears all the way out to keep up...especially a turbo car considering that that's where your seriously power is made...second off, like they said their was no T-7...you can get 290-300 like he said from simple bolt ons and a good tune...and do not think that your mustang is unbeatable and all mighty, not here to start fights but i run with blown 99 GT's and i dont have any staged upgrades...have the video to prove it....he was more than likely stock

I've done a lot of research on SRTs and like everyone else said there is no t7 turbo, and about the stages stock is a stage 0 and it goes 1,2,3,3R the stage 3R puts out around 350hp (correct me if im wrong, not positive about this number) but anyway i am giving up owning an SRT to hopefully get an 01 cobra but trust me, a SLIGHTLY modded SRT would take a 99 Cobra easily, especially a stage 3 with an upgraded turbo.

srt-4's arent "ricers" by name. since its american its "domestic rice" lol. those cars are so gay i cant wait to get my 01 snake on the road and destroy one. try to find this video called mischief its about street racing. thats where i got the name domestic rice. btw gj on eating the neon.
